Cream yellow leaves appear on reddish stems in spring. Foliage turns to white with increasing green speckles as foliage ages. Sparse clusters of pinkish lavender trumpet shaped blooms appear below new branches in mid summer before turning to violet berry clusters for fall decoration. Prune its arching branches to the ground for more blooms next year on new wood. Mature shrub photo from
