There were palm trees in a  terrace house garden in Darlinghurst which had many torn off palm branches lying on the ground

By adding the detail and characters the artwork was created

The bulge in the split grain became the stage curtain as she walked through

so not being able to  let this opportunity  pass the next day I photographed about a hundred of them
