French Bronze of a Pointer dog looking down at a lizard amongst the foliage, on a shaped base, with hand cut square nuts on the underside. This piece is signed "Susse Fres B" On the back lower left, and is from the Susse Freres Foundry. This piece can firmly be attributed to Jules Moigniez, based on similarities in style and other versions of this bronze attributed to him. The National Sporting Library & Museum in Virginia
