Hints of fruity sweetness balance the heat on the palate, but the finish has a strong and dominant smoky essence that is surprisingly pleasant. A dram to simply enjoy like a velvet hug in a glass. I know peat puts a lot of people off, but it's a cracking dram, well worth a look in.
