Large Handwoven Tortilla Basket w/lid lunch plate If you want to purchaseThis traditional basket was handmade by Purepecha Indian artisans on the shores of Lake Patzcuaro. Very attractive and sturdy, this basket is made from "chuspata" or tule reeds that grow in the lake. It was originally made to hold tortillas and it's perfect for that but these can also be used to store jewelry, sewing supplies or other keepsakes. We use one as attractive storage on our counter for our vitamins and medications and they're terrific for a
