All four legs have very old historic (possibly always been there) metal supports where they join the top (see photo)
and the odd knock to the frame
Black anglepoise lamp Model 1227, early 1950s, PAT tested. Table from plywood or birch withMade between 1948 and 1960, with rolled out shade rim, metal cross bolts, classic 2 tier base, in stylish original black paint and fully rewired with new bulb holder, grommets, switch, cable and plug from Anglepoise themselves. The lamp is in good order, with the expected chips and flakes to the black paint from use please zoom in on the photos for details. The original felt is still in place underneath the base, but with some losses see photo. Works
