枯れた質素な佇まい。

本品は江戸初期の葭の元窯の皿を金継ぎしたものです。作為のないリムのうねり、左右不均一な魅力的な形をしています。記録用に、（葭の元窯）と印字されたものが糊付けされていますが、洗えばすぐに取れます。

薄作りに、灰色に硬く焼きしまった肌に触れると緊張感が伝わりくるようです。

輪環の把手装飾、クルクルと回る摘み、薄造りで、鮮やかな色絵が入っています。
