Vintage 1940s Hammersley Bone China Cup & Saucer Gold Floral and Turquoise 4897/5 chickens The ash glazes that heThis is a lovely footed cup and saucer set made by Hammersley of England in a turquoise colour with gold floral patterning. The top edge, centre exterior, the foot and handle are all trimmed in gold paint. The saucer is similarly decorated to the cup. The Hammersley mark on the underside of each piece was used from 1939 into the 1950s. It is hand numbered 4897 5. The set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or wear both pieces ping
