I like that you can bounce your opponents lands, dont get me wrong, but the overall cost just isnt worth it

This makes them very difficult to handle and spend on rare cards, which are all very expensive and can cost upward of 500 pack points, meaning one has to open 100 packs just for one guaranteed Ex card

They are all colorless because Mishras Workshop or Ancient Tomb is just too good and there are enough crazy ramp lands in the older formats to support a deck like that
