This enchantment is a fixed version of Recurring Nightmare, but its still an extremely powerful addition to the Commander format that can enable all sorts of shenanigans with powerful ETB triggers

Its not clear why this card was targeted (or why now), but it may have been related to the Marnies Morpeko promo card that was released with the Marnie Rival Battle Deck back on May 16, which is also numbered 206 and briefly reached just under $50 in early September
It's a meta relevant card featuring a popular Pokmon and fan-favorite trainer, so the price point makes a lot of sense
