The good part is its main abilities: vigilance and first strike

Love this thing loads, but it's two-color identity keeps it here in my Honorable Mention section

I think the main use is to give protection from a removal spell for 2 mana, which I believe is a filler combat trick or mostly a sideboard card

Being able to force your opponent to discard their hands (often triggering life loss via the enchantment Megrim) and giving you more tools to play with, is still quite a strong ability
