Ive been playing a lot of Standard on Arena recently (and pretty well, if I do say so myself), and while the decks I wrote about above are the core of the format, theres still room for surpise

They also need absolutely no maintenance or improvement, so you can keep one of these in your bag for years and continue to have a consistently enjoyable experience

They may prevent you from playing permanent spells when theyre on the battlefield, but their activated ability more than makes up for it

The fact that the buff doesnt hit toughness is also nice because it might convince some players to swing with creatures they otherwise wouldnt, giving you a chance to take that creature out
